The Chatham Conservation Foundation Inc. (CCF) is the oldest land trust on Cape Cod, an honor which we are grateful to hold and will continue to build upon. We invite members of the community to build on their legacies with us through the lasting benefits of Planned Giving, one of the most impactful ways to conserve the beauty and charming character of Chatham. We hope you will join us in forever preserving the wild places, plants, animals, ecosystems, and woodland trails that we love, by considering us in your estate planning.
CCF gratefully accepts bequests, gifts of IRAs, and gifts of life insurance, which are all briefly outlined in the column to the right. CCF is a 501(c)3 nonprofit (tax exempt number 04-6047692). If you have questions for us and would like to learn more, please contact our Executive Director, Dorothy Bassett, at 508-945-4084 or ExecutiveDirector@ccfinc.org
One of our most recent land gifts was a bequest from Daniel Devine. Read his inspiring story in our Spring 2020 Bulletin newsletter:
Bequests – Anyone can make a gift to a land trust through their will or living trust. This is simple and straightforward, just like a regular donation. The gift can be land, a cash donation, or through stocks.
Gifts of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) – The Trust would be designated as a/the beneficiary of an IRA.
Gifts of Life Insurance – The Trust would be designated as a/the beneficiary.
