Become a Mayo House Docent This Spring!

Step back in time at the Mayo House, the oldest home in Chatham still standing on its original parcel. Built by Josiah Mayo in the 19th century, this remarkable house has witnessed generations of Chatham residents and holds stories from the town’s early days.

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers from Spring through Summer. The commitment is just two hours a week, with time slots available in the late afternoons, Monday through Thursday, and all day Friday and Saturday. Training will be provided, so all you need is a love for history!
