Mini-Meadow on Main: Garden Talk: Cape Cod Native Plantings

Learn how the CCF Mini-Meadow at the historic Mayo House supports pollinators, thrives with modest levels of maintenance, provides visual interest, and demonstrates the possibilities of using native plants in private gardens. The program is free, but registration is required.


August Birding Walk, co-sponsored with Friends of Monomoy

Saturday, August 8, 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM

Join Frank Kahr for a morning birding walk on Morris Island. Registration fee benefits the Friends of Monomoy.


CCF Annual Meeting and Reception, Monday, August 10th, 4:00-6:00 PM

CCF convenes our members at an Annual Meeting every August to apprise them of the Foundation's accomplishments of the past year and our future goals, along with voting in trustees for new or repeat terms. A reception follows. This event is free of charge, but open only to CCF members.

'Sea' Into Pleasant Bay: A Guided Hands-On Exploration of Coastal Creatures, Friday, August 14, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Participants will wade into the waters of Jackknife Beach using dip nets to catch and observe the fascinating creatures that call Pleasant Bay home. An interactive program for ages 8+.
