Memberships

The Foundation’s success - past, present
and future - is dependent upon a community of members dedicated to preserving
Chatham’s natural environment. Members not only contribute financially to the work of
the Foundation, but also serve together as ambassadors of conservation within the town,
state and beyond. Membership dues support routine expenses (land surveys, title searches,
recording fees, printing and postage, etc.) and contribute to funds used for land
acquisition and maintenance. Members are also invited to participate in volunteering their skills and time to the Foundation to support
its ongoing work, for example, clearing trails, assisting with communications and public
relations and lending fundraising expertise. Members receive the Foundation’s
semiannual bulletin, are invited to attend the annual meeting, and participate in other
Foundation activities throughout the year.
CCF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Membership dues and all contributions of cash
or securities are tax-deductible under the Internal Revenue Code.
